Tewksbury Congregational Church Commemorative Plaque Presentation

Tewksbury Historical Society President Doug Sears presents Tewksbury Congregational Church Pastor Rev. Baxter Chism and Church Historian Christopher Jenkins with a commemorative plaque celebrating the 100 year anniversary of TCC’s building.
The plaque contains a postcard of their old facility prior to a fire in 1918.

Tewksbury Historical Society President Delivers Invocation & Benediction at Revolutionary War Monument Installation
On Labor Day, 2022 the Special Events Committee of the town of Chatham invited Tewksbury Historical Society President Doug Sears to deliver the Invocation and Benediction at the ceremony for the installation a Revolutionary War monument in Chase Park in Chatham. Honored on the plaque are the names of families whose members either served in the revolutionary war or stayed at home and supported the war effort.
The monument dedication was part of Chatham’s Memorial Day celebrations this year.
