Description

This is an annual tour of the Tewksbury area outlining where the original “Wamesit” native American tribe was located. It is a guided tour with narration about the Wamesit history at each planned stop along the route.

Agenda

Bus Tour leaves from the Tewksbury library at 1:00pm.

12:00pm – Optional > Wamesit Lanes for lunch

(Not included in price of the tour.)

1:00pm > Bus to West School

1:35pm > Fort Hill Park

Hiking to the top (optional)

2:00pm > Heart of Wamesit > Concord River “falls” into the Merrimack River

2:30pm – Hunt’s Falls, Merrimack River

3:00pm – Drive north side of Merrimack River

3:15pm – Drive to River Road, Hood Road to

Catamount Drive

4:00pm – End at Tewksbury Library.

Minimum of 15 needed for bus. Ticket prices are broken down as follows (in USD):
